This client has traveled the world and wanted that to be reflected in their home decor. The couple also wasn't afraid of color; in fact, they were adamant about a colorful palette of purple, coral & lime green for the dining room.
It was exciting to work with such a bold combination of colors & it was a new challenge for us to break away from our typical neutral palette.
Painting the dining chairs & reupholstering the seats added just the coral pop the room needs to fully embrace the color. They are balanced by natural fiber & fur cushioned end chairs in a striking shape & a rustic farm style table.
Other than the that, styling & sourcing were the keys to our design. A gray & white rug anchors the room with a light feel in a fun pattern. The capiz chandelier is light & natural with a shape that elongates the room.
A custom table runner along with hints of purple & coral throughout the vignettes pull together to look.
The mix of colors along with a variety of natural elements, travel momentos & textiles made this space truly eclectic.
Inspired by their trips to Bali, the object of the bedroom design was to feel like a modern Balinese retreat also using textiles & styling alone.
Custom pillows, bench cushion & window treatments were the base for our palette. Coral & an icy blue-gray made for a modern combination, while the mix & style of patterns created the eclectic look.
We pulled these tones in throughout the rest of the design as well with candlesticks, decorative bowls & vases.
Mixed metals added a glam touch, but with ornate details that gave it a Balinese flair. Super tall table lamps add drama & height to the room. And a shag rug cozies up the space with a luxe feel.
